June is an enamelist, practicing the ancient art of fusing glass to copper or silver at temperatures around 1500 degrees. She creates jewelry, plates, bowls, wall pieces, and sculpture, starting with recycled metal, forming the piece, then applying the glass.  She loves the depth and vitality of color available with this medium, and especially enjoys teaching classes to both youth and adults.

June also works in watercolors, oils, and collage.  Her inspiration is usually from nature, but the results can range from realistic to abstract.  Again, the use of color is one of her primary interests.
